The Good Building Book: Principles of efficient, functional and sustainable design

This 288-pp book was published in 2025. I very much enjoyed working on it, combining as it did my interests in architecture and sustainability. However, it proved a technical challenge - it relied on numerous photos of notes and sketches from the authors' notebooks but was intended for co-editioning, which meant all text, even that appearing in images, had to be isolated from the imagery and typeset.

The body text is Interstate, nicely pared back, and titles are the structural Dharma Gothic Bold, inspired by an architecture events poster designed by Michael Bierut.
