Secrets of the Seas

This is a 240-page book of photos by underwater photographer Alex Mustard, in which he explores a range of different global underwater habitats. My design is simple, allowing Alex's beautiful imagery to dominate. The body copy is picked out in bold and runs through the early part of each chapter, sitting alongside lighter but substantial picture captions. I chose colours on each spread according to the images featured there – also reflecting the myriad colours of the sea.
