This book, published in 2026, was a pleasure to work on, with pretty photos and illustrations, and room in the brief for creativity – also my first recipe book.
The format is quite narrow, and thus more restrictive in terms of layout choices. I ran with it and used vertical colour bands at the outer edges of the pages, and stacked folio and running head, centred at the bottom, to emphasise and to play with the format. I used Archer and Poppins, two typefaces which I think complement each other nicely with their lovely round Os.
